Would You Like To Drink From The Fire Hose?

Postby The Gold Bug on Thu Dec 28, 2006 8:01 pm

I set my first TB free on Tuesday. It is an 8 or 9 inch brass fire hose nozzle. My six year old likes these action figures called Rescue Heroes. His favorite ones are the firefighters. The TB’s mission is to visit fire stations and have its picture taken with the station or the fire equipment. It has a secondary mission of going to New York and visiting the stations that were called into action on 9-11-02. Less than an hour after it was placed, it was picked up and is still on the road. My son can’t wait to see the pictures.

Lesbian Nazi hookers abducted by aliens and subjected to weight loss programs, on the next "George".
In the days before the internet, village idiots usually stayed in their own village.

I’m glad my 6-year-old isn’t able to understand that one!

I don't even think I understand that one.....

Maybe WB got into too much of his own homebrew. <tsk>

 How embarrassing! A movie quote got by me. That is where the name of the TB originated. It has been years since I have seen it so other quotes from the movie fly over my head. The fire hose and spatula city are about all I remember. UHF is the greatest brain fart ever recorded. I thought it was required to watch it in Jr. High.

And of course, the Piece de Resistance... sorry, I misquoted a bit. I haven't watched it in a few months.

The TB’s first trip took it to Florida and all the way back to WV for a grand total of 597mi. The Rideau Rangers are good people to carry your TB.

Nice! What is your TB's total goal?

I'm always excited (probably overly so) to see my TBs or coins move. My one coin made it to England and is moving around quite a bit. I think I might release one next time we go across the pond.
