February Beer & Wings - Fairmont?

Postby Spotty Spotty Pony Girl on Mon Feb 10, 2014 7:26 am

Last Thursday of the month is February 27.

And before anyone suggests it, pbump checked out the BBQ place in Fairmont and said it isn't really a good place for beer & wings due to the size and a few other things.

So, we can skip Fairmont again unless someone comes up with a good place in Fairmont for this month's gathering.

Or we could all just show up at wvhunter's house.

Maybe once the weather warms up a bit?

What, you mean you don't want a bunch of us trampling through your house, tracking snow and mud all over? Flinging our coats haphazardly about and generally acting like we own the place?

Would we do that?

When you put it that way it would be just like when I was a kid growing up. But we'll have to invite my parents too. Just to have someone to yell at me to pick up my coat.

hearing no suggestions.....I'm going to recommend we do what we usually do and skip the Friendly City yet again and head up to Clarksburg. We usually have beer & wings in Clarksburg at the Brickside place.

Any other suggestions?

don't be such slackers.

So Gentleman-Carpentered mentioned the Red Caboose as a possible destination.

Just wanted to throw that out there too, since i said I would.

Makes no never mind to me.

I'll leave it to you "gentlemen" to make the final decision.

Even though I don't fit into that category, I'll say we go to the Red Caboose. 6:00pm ... or whenever wvhunter shows up.

I get off at work at 4 and then will try to kill a little time at the mall or something. Needless to say I will likely show up well before 6:00.
