October & November Beer & Wings Discussion

Postby Spotty Spotty Pony Girl on Thu Oct 16, 2014 11:22 am

Ok folks. The last Thursday of October falls on the 30th. Which is a real bummer for us because that's the night of Trick or Treat in our neck of the woods.

AND....as we know next month is November and thanks to Thanksgiving, that's when our typical B&W schedule goes off the rails.

So here are a few options - and yes, they are built around my schedule because it's me typing and I'm selfish, which is no surprise.

Suggestion 1:
Beer & Wings night on Thursday, October 23 in Morgantown (that's on the normal rotation).

Suggestion 2:
Just skip October and have Beer & Wings night on Thursday, November 13 in Morgantown. I say November 13 because WVU has a home game against Kansas on Thursday, November 20 at 7 pm.

Suggestion 3:
Beer & Wings Thursday, October 23 in Morgantown
Beer & Wings Thursday November 13 in Fairmont or Bridgeport.

Weigh in kids.

Edited to fix the Nov date in option 3.

I'm out for October 23. November 20 I'll be at the football game.

Ugh. Sorry. Corrected option 3 to read November 13

I'm good with "Suggestion 3". Then probably December 18th.

Let's try going the other way. Instead of moving B&W night up a week (or 2), how about we push it back a week as we have done in past years.

That would put the next B&W on Nov 6th (Morgantown), followed by Dec 4th (Fairmont/Clarksburg). January could then be on the 8th, unless folks want to meet up on the 1st.

I'm slightly a-feared that MAGPI has managed to come up with a sensible plan on how to handle the next three months of Beer & Wings nights so far in advance.

Sounds good to me.
