June B&W Night / Day / Roving Fiasco....

Postby Spotty Spotty Pony Girl on Mon Jun 02, 2008 2:23 pm

Officially opening the new topic.

There were murmurs of moving this dog & pony (and cat & rat) show down I-79 to visit KWSN and explore some uncharted caching territory.

For the record, the last Saturday of June is the 28th which is the proposed date for a Seneca Rocks expedition. We could, however move that expedition to another date and venture forth to Kanawha State Forest for a little caching fun, combined with food and lies...

Carpooling highly recommended. The might Vue can fit 2 other people (or 3 if sidekick bails).

Soooo, that said, boys and girls.....let's hear from you

I would love to have you guys down for a caching visit. We could do it on the 21st. I am off work the day before and could plan and dig up some good caches.

The 21st is out for wvcoacat and myself.

That's a shame. It is FestivALL weekend. Lots of free activites and performaces. That only leaves the 14th or the 28th.

This just in....FestivALL has been expanded to a full week! :kilt: Events will continue through June 29th. For event details, see here: http://www.festivallcharleston.com/
My favorite part, the book sale, will take place on the 29th. I suggest we have B&W in Charleston on the 28th. We could do some caching that evening. Everyone could stay in town Saturday night for more caching and FestivALL fun on Sunday.

This idea is SSPG approved.

OK,
In the Seneca Rocks thread the idea of moving that weekend trip has been presented.
If we do move that trip then how hany people would be serious about a Saturday, or even an overnight trip to Charleston?

There seems to be a consensus on the 28th. Let me know how many plan to come so I can warn, uh, I mean, notify a restaurant ahead of time for Saturday night. For those who need it, I will also post a few camping locations. SSPG, I have an extra bed. Of course, I am a bit out of town!

OK, KWSN- so just what fine establishments are we considering thus far? Some things we look forward to very early!
