GC36KQ4 The Legend of Polly Williams

Postby SnowXRacer on Wed Oct 26, 2011 10:58 am

I was never around to experience the original "Polly Takes the Plunge" (or something close to that), but I have heard nothing but great things said about it, and it seems to come up quite often in conversation. For those of you who don't have your notifications set up very far, it seems as though Polly will not be forgotten as she is back again in another cache...

It'll be interesting to see if/how long the cache remains there.

I'm just sayin'
Great location for a cache. I just hope it stays there long enough for me to hike back up and find it.

Yeah, I never did get to any of the original Fairchance Three before they went away. I'd like to get up there to see the area.

I wish it would have been a multi again. There was nothing like reading the story and thinking cool old folk tale and then ending up at her grave.

It was an awesome cache to learn the story with.

AC, I'll go with you and take you over to where Scattered Remains was, next to the old WWII munitions plant. Parts of the building including the smoke stack are still standing.

A few months ago I had planned on putting a cache in the cave until I ran into this guy, the 3rd of the trip (and I was only a mile from the truck) the biggest and the most mad so I decided against it.

Light travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.
