I assume you have downloaded the APP for your computer? Makes loading PQs so easy!

assume you mean cache register? If so yes. Well it is on sidekick's laptop. It being the closest computer to the GPS at the time of setting the GPS up. I'll put it on my laptop before GW for sure.

I'm sure that my Garmin will show up any time now. Probably jammed in some far flung corner of the house we forgot even existed.

Sweet. I've had the PN-20 and now the PN-40 for a while. I won't lie, occassionally a bug rears its ugly head that makes me wonder if DeLorme was the right choice, but I log into the DeLorme forum - find the solution - fix the problem and go back to being a fan. Hope you like it. But as you can tell, I don't get that "Device is in use" message very often these days :???:

I have Cache Register, but I almost never use it for some reason. I just got into a habit of either loading the geocaches with Topo 9 or by dragging and dropping the .gpx files onto the SD card. Topo 9 takes a little learning curve, but after you start using it with the GPS to play with the layers of maps, tracklogs, etc. I think you'll find it pretty groovy. The thing that initially sold me on DeLorme was that the Topo 9 software and basemaps come with the unit - nothing extra to buy.
Indecision is the key to flexibility.

I'll be 100% honest & admit that not only did sidekick do all the set up - we have a serious lack of machines that have DVD drives in our house - I have done nothing at all besides use it to cache. That's the problem getting a new toy and having "tech support" take care of everything right out of the box.

I'm assuming that fairly soon my Garmin 60CSx which went MIA sometime in November / December will appear. That's usually how these things go.
