International Caching Day - 8/16/14

Postby Spotty Spotty Pony Girl on Thu Aug 14, 2014 2:59 pm

Since this Saturday, August 16, is International Geocaching Day, I'm putting together a little outing to take advantage of the lovely weather. All are welcome!

Now, here's the part that's gonna blow your mind....I'm going for rail trail caches. Yes, yes I am. Partly because I'm dragging Dad out with me, but mostly because my very dear friend Arissa (Exploring Deaconess) has decided to throw her lot in with cachers after our Alaskan adventure last month.

We're hitting the West Fork Trail, starting with Killlerbee's 8's (GC5A1Q7) and headed West on the trail. There are four caches there and it's about two miles round trip. Then we'll head East and grab the ones there.

I'm picking Dad and Arissa up around 11 and will go strait to the trailhead. So figure I'll be there by 11:30.

Buffaloes and tigers are one thing, but mustelids are not to be trifled with.
