Let's see Fall pictures from different parts of the State. From last weekend:

WV's Highest Lake, GCGMFR

The colors are at peak up there.

And I spent my weekend in the Shenendoah valley of East Virginia. Colors not NEARLY as brilliant there yet. But I did have to drive through the mountains! Nice shots, man.

Was actually going to the shooting range yesterday morning, but was near Can't See the Forest for the Trees (GCRYT7).

It looks like there should be another week or two for color at the lower elevations. The problem is that the streams are really low from lack of rain. I hiked down Seneca Creek and there was no water flowing until 3 miles in.

Really nice pics, friend from AZ PM'd me to send them pics of the fall foliage. Doesn't get any better color than this time of year.

I'm thinking about a trip to Seneca/Dolly Sods next weekend to do some photography so I hope the leaves hold out.

here is one I took of my 4 year old's first squirrel hunt with papaw in Spencer...

here is one I took a couple weeks back at the Reckert's Mill Cache in Preston County (by the way, I dropped off a travelbug there that is still sittin in the cache...please move it along if you live nearby.

Near Palestine,WV heading to the "Wirt's First" cache

There is a multi-cache (a fun one too) in Elizabeth, WV. I took the wrong road to stage two so I shot this photo to make the most of it...

another shot in Wirt County

and this one is at my Natural Bridge Cache after I dropped off some geocoins last week. The light was funky so I shot this one via HDR with three exposures. It didn't turn out that well despite my best effort.

My pics from last weekend are up. The leafs weren't spectacular but it was a beautiful day.
