and that isn't a short hike up the hill with the gate locked, either. (no, I drove up when i was there)

All 30 in a 17 year old MR2.

It was a trooper, especially the trip up Rich Mountain and off roading while following 'hunter to Sutton.

Was at the Gorge today and decided to grab the cache there (yes, yes, I know, I know that is on the agenda for NEXT weekend).

But it was a beautiful day and I was sad to be spending so much of it in the car.

so now I have 21 of the 30 caches.

I joined 89SC and PilotJ in the "Finished the whole ExploreWV shootin match HOF" on Wednesday. Harper's Ferry was my last find for the series...and one of the more difficult ones to find. Another challenge down! Now for at least a couple days rest before the next one is unveiled

Saturday finally made it to Jacksons Mill - had not been there since 1993 when a friend had her wedding there - and Sutton. I had never been to Sutton Dam before, so that was neat. We ran into a fellow from Ohio at the dam who was hoping to finish off the challenge. Hope he didn't take the back way to Charleston.

Because I have completed all the entries on my playbook, please don't put me in the awkward position of cheating by giving you the answers to caches you haven't logged "but intend to get sometime soon". Not naming names, but...really?

I'm sorry. I won't do it again. I'm so ashamed.

Done. And sent. All 30. Thanks to a rag tag bunch that swarmed the south last weekend.

Man, that was fun.

Indeed it was. And I have yet to remember to scan my pamphlet and send it in. One day I'll get over this nasty case of CRS that I seem to have picked up.

4 Different Navigators

Loads of fun.

No pics of the chair? I can't remember if anybody has already posted one or not.

I finished the 30th cache (Seneca) on Sunday and will send in the paper in a few days (didn't send it in after 16).

On a side note ... I took a vacation this week (I know, hard to believe. My first in a few years) and finished up the counties and DeLorme pages this evening. At least, I hope so. The Boone County cache I got was right on the line and there wasn't a sign along the road to verify where it was. I'll find out later when I run the macro. If it's not Boone County, I guess I'll be heading back down in a couple days.
