of which 12 were ExploreWV caches!
Anatomy (n): something everyone has, but which looks better on a girl.

Life would be so much easier if we could just look at the source code.

The red Jeep wound up travelling in Doddridge, Harrison, Ritchie, Calhoun, Roane, Kanahwa, Putnam, Cabell, Wayne, Lincoln, Logan, Mingo, Wyoming, Boone (yeah, Boone - at the Rt 99/85 junction), Raleigh, Fayette, Greenbrier, Pocahontas, Pendleton, Randolph, Barbour, Upshur and Lewis in pursuit of the goal. But in the end, the challenge is complete.

We had a great time. Snow and all. Can't wait for the next crazy plan to surface.

Coming from a different direction to start, we didn't hit those exact counties, but we got most of them ... and a couple not on that list. I'll have to double check the numbers, but 775 miles still doesn't seem right. I'll see what I come up with in the next day or so.

Great time! Although, I still have a few ExploreWV caches to get yet ... like the one 2 miles from home. But right now, it's time for sleep! :tired:

Good job team. Had a great time, even though I'm now really wishing I had gotten some more sleep.

Hoping to post pics and the story this week.

It sounds like it was a great trip. I'm glad it went well for you all but I'm sorry I had to miss it.

Congrats on a crazy day. I can only imagine how tired you still are. It's not just 775 miles, it is 775 painful winding miles around coalfield roads. Yuck. SSPG texted me after doing the cache in Spencer and I was already en route to Wal-Mart so I swung by GZ 5 minutes after the text and missed the caravan. So you guys were flat out walking the dog on this adventure.

Here's some refreshments, my treat...

if you'd have continued onto Walmart you would have met up with the caravan.

It didn't kill us, it just made some of us cry. But we lived to tell all about it.

Plotting all the key locations on the Google Maps shows the route the B team took was 726 miles. Not counting wrong turns. And loops. And driveways. And driveway loops.

I think y'all took shortcuts. It is at least 680 miles between Charleston to Oceana. Trust me, I have to go to that God forsaken place multiple times per year for work.

We did take a shortcut. We went from Charleston to Milton to Huntington to Logan to Matewan and then to Oceana. Much shorter that way. :???:
