July Hiking/Biking Contest Stats

Starting off July ... 1.88 miles today (GC4ENJ3).

  • I love deadlines. I especially like the whooshing sound they make when they go flying by.

I did 2.65 getting 2 caches on the rail trail yesterday (7/3/12) - wvhiker222's Procastination Cache & wvcachers3's Gross County Challenge.

Did 2.25 today in the Botanic Garden getting the one out there (the name escapes me at this time) with loyal sidekick.

Logged a cache while walking the dogs this evening, so I'm claiming the entire walk. 1.75 miles for me so far this month.

7/27 Aquacache & I logged 5.11 doing the virtual at Paw Paw plus a small trail (3 caches) in Winchester and then 1.1 miles in a park in Winchester in which we got drenched DNF'ing a 5 difficulty - we also got a few in that park before things took a turn for the worse.

As mentioned, we did 5.11 on Saturday, plus I can count about .46 more going after the WV Know Your Neighbor Challenge on Sunday. That brings my July total up to 18.5 miles.
