MAGPI's Cafe Press Store

Postby Rock_Rat on Mon Aug 30, 2010 10:38 am

MAGPI now has a cafe press store located at http://www.cafepress.com/magpigear. I've only put up a handful of products so let me know if there is something you would like to see that isn't there yet. I'm also planning on producing a MAGPI caching calendar so keep watch for that thread to post your favorite caching pictures.

As a word of warning I've never ordered from Cafe press so I'm not sure what the quality of there printing looks like but I've heard that it's fairly good. All products are set at Cafe Press minimum prices.

I'm considering adding a few cents (maybe a buck) to each item proceeds to go to putting on the Great Meat-N-Greet. Comments and criticisms are welcomed.

Looks pretty nice. I like the water bottle. The logo on the hat looks a little small in the picture. You might check to see how big the actual image would be and if it can be bigger than in the picture.

I've ordered a few things from Cafe Press (and received a few gifts from there) and the quality seems decent. I have a calendar hanging on my wall right across the desk here. But it's stuck on April 2008 ... and the picture of my Jeep.

I am confused about one thing. What is mag pig ear? (http://www.cafepress.com/magpigear)

  • I love deadlines. I especially like the whooshing sound they make when they go flying by.

I have ordered many shirts from cafe press and have been quite pleased with them.

The designs have not faded and the shirt sizes / styles are numerous.

I think i had on my 'Property of Villain' shirt at the pic nic saturday. I designed and ordered it from cafe press in 2007 and it has held up quite nicely.

The image is much larger but CafePress only allows a two inch logo on that product. I was a little disappointed in that myself.

Cool. I have a CafePress store myself (shameless promotion plug http://www.cafepress.com/vandaliarods )

I've been satisfied with what I've gotten. The stickers tend to fade after about a year on the outside of a car fyi. I also don't like how they do the hats.

What's the difference between "Oval Sticker" and "Sticker (Oval)"?

Are those back and front views or views (front/back)?

$25 for the water bottle? Yeah ... it LOOKS nice ...

It's a Sigg water bottle. They cost about $25 without custom logo.

So...any chance you are gonna put T-shirts up in the store?

There two different stickers. I'm not sure why the where given different names like that. As for a tee shirt I can do that.

Yeah when those Al bottles first started their fad I hauled off and bought a SIGG in a plain white wrapper for 25 clams. The $2 ones you can get at the dollar store hold water just the same (I know, shocking) but they don't say MAGPI on them and we all know water tastes better in a MAGPI bottle.

Kelly doesn't know it but she just bought me a bunch of MAGPI gear for an anniversary present.
